Yael stone, who is a New York City Australian resident, portrayed Lorna the character of Morello Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael completed her studies at NIDA. Yael was fortunate to be able to collaborate with Australia's leading storytellers. Her experience includes behind-the-scenes work in television, film and the theatre. Yael is well-known as an actor across Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael discovered her new location within New York City when the production premiered to acclaim in The Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). Yael has been a co-founder of The Cannery. Based in a Bushwick, Brooklyn studio, The Cannery encourages ideas in creative writing, as well as innovative creative projects, and supports the growth of writers in their teens.
